Dogs are Welcome at The York Priory!

Yes we do love and accept dogs however here are a few rules and considerations before bringing your pampered pooch;

We have dogs of our own so all dogs must be kept on a lead whilst in the public areas of the guesthouse.
No dogs are allowed in dining areas where food is being served. We can provide a table for you to sit and eat your meal with your pet should you so wish.
We do not provide any food for your dogs stay that is up to you.
Dogs are welcome to be left in your room whilst you go out however if your dog is destructive or noisey, howls or barks you will not be allowed to leave it unattended and you must leave a contact number whilst out.
You will be liable for any damage caused by your dog whilst left unattended please make sure you have insurance to cover this.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture.
All pet poops must be cleared up immediately.

Remember your dog will be staying in a strange home and may feel insecure or unhappy;

Your dog may behave strangely.
Your dog may sometimes bark when people walk around the guesthouse opening and closing doors and so forth.
Maybe your dog with scratch at doors or howl when left alone

Please consider the above eventualities before bringing your pet as it is not always successfull!
